SUNDAYS AT CARDEA COMMUNITY CHURCH

Sunday mornings are the time we come together as a whole church to sing, pray, read God's word and hear it explained. Children are very welcome with us and we run activities for children alongside the second part of our service.
Whether you have attended church for decades or never been before, you would be very welcome to join us for our service and for free refreshments afterwards.
Please contact us if you would like more information or have any questions.
We meet every Sunday morning at 10:30am

WHAT TO EXPECT
Are you worried about fitting in? Don't be! At Cardea Community Church you'll find there are young workers, families and retirees, from different countries and a variety of faith-backgrounds. You don't even have to be Christian to come along!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There’s no dress-code – come in whatever you feel comfortable wearing. Most people are fairly casual.
WHERE DO I PARK?
There's a large car park at St Michael's Primary School, through the large green gates.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN? DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
As you arrive, you'll be welcomed and you can find a seat anywhere you'd feel most comfortable. There’ll be some prayers, a Bible-reading, a talk, (during which there are activities for the children), and various songs along the way. You're welcome to sing along but we understand if you'd rather not. We read from the Bible and there are Bibles available on a table at the back so you can pick one up and follow along if you'd like. If you arrive late, it’s okay. We aim to start on time, but we always have seats at the back for latecomers.
WHAT ABOUT MONEY?
You’re not expected to bring any money with you. Our regulars do contribute to church funds, but visitors are our guests.
ANY DRINKS?
Free refreshments are served after the gatherings. You can head off after the formal close of the gathering if you like, but lots of people choose to stay and chat over drinks and biscuits. There is a table near the doors with books on which are available to take - maybe have a look before you go or while you drink your coffee.
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
You are very welcome to bring children to church – and please don’t worry if they are noisy, we would rather have some noise than no children at all! You can always wander in and out if they’re proving challenging. We provide a children's programme for 1-11s. Click here for more information on children and families.
